Things may looking up for President Obama as the new Rasmussen poll for approval/disapproval was released earlier this week. The reason? Beats me, and almost everyone else. The closing of the gap, which was around 17%, has closed greatly. Why?
The gap has been closing since January 30th. There are only two major events that could contribute to this closing–the election of Scott Brown, and the SOTU.
Brown brings in a check on the Congress, and potentially the President, but the SOTU was a speech that saw Obama defiant to his ideological mission.
The poll shows that the voters can be swayed rather quickly and for inexplicable reasons. All politicians take note.
